An account with a licensed operator is opened under the law, not just by filling in fields. The licence asks for an account that can be checked, that belongs to an adult and that has the required controls. At Balkan Bet the process is the same as at any operator holding a Serbian licence. Balkan Bet runs its online operation under licence 424-01-00219/2022-02 issued by the Games of Chance Administration, so everything below follows from the rules rather than from house preference.
Opening the account
Personal details, a Serbian mobile number and a password of your choosing — that is the whole form. The number matters more than it looks: it is the channel for confirmation codes and, later, for anything to do with recovering access, so a number you actually control is worth more than a convenient one.
You can play as soon as the account exists. You can withdraw once it is verified. Those two sentences describe the whole of the difference, and the gap between them is where most complaints about any licensed operator actually live.
Step two: verification
Verification asks for a photograph of an identity document, and sometimes for proof that the account or card you mean to use is yours. However much money is on the balance, the check takes the same time. Whoever finishes it at once forgets it ever happened; whoever postpones it waits for the payout.
A first attempt succeeds when three details are in place. A valid document is the first condition. All four corners in the frame, flat and in daylight — that is how to shoot it. And make sure the name on the account, on the document and on the payment method are the same name — mismatched names are why checks come back most often, as the withdrawal guide also notes.
Spins that wait for verification
Welcome spins arrive only after registration and verification are finished, not after a deposit. They are most often lost by people who put the document photo off until later. The whole offer is described in the welcome bonus guide.
Limits and self-exclusion
A deposit limit is offered during sign-up because the licence requires it to be offered, and it is the most useful control on the page. Setting it at the start, while nothing is at stake, is far easier than reaching for it in the middle of a bad week. Self-exclusion is right beside it, and both can be changed later, though loosening them takes effect only after a delay.
For the tools themselves rather than the process, see responsible gambling.
The one-account rule
One account per person, in your own name, funded only from your own card or account, and eighteen or older. When a duplicate is found, the account is shut and its balance is contested, not paid out. It most often hits people who open another account for a fresh welcome offer, and only at the payout.
The whole process is short and it is front-loaded by design. Register, verify the same day, set a limit, and after that the cashier is simply the payments hub and nothing else.
